‍Hope’s professional career took an unexpected turn when she entered the eCommerce sector, working for a company specializing in clawfoot bathtubs. She handled various responsibilities in this position, from managing vendor relationships to overseeing in-house photography. Although this job did not directly align with her long-term career goals, it offered a solid foundation in supply chain management, customer relations, and logistics—skills that would prove essential as she advanced in her career. As her professional journey continued, she joined a startup that provided critical COVID-19 response services to the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Charter Schools. Serving as the Director of Operations, she managed complex logistics and devised operational policies that ensured compliance with public health regulations. During this challenging period, her leadership skills were crucial in facilitating essential services and optimizing departmental collaborations, ultimately contributing to continuing education during a global health crisis.
